Family Photo Time

Well, we finally broke down and decided to do family photos. Originally it was only supposed to be Austin and Alivia, but the day of photos' we decided might as well do the family. It was fun (to say the least) Kudo's to Holly our dear friend who did the photo's for us. http://houghtonphoto.blogspot.com/ It is not easy trying to get a two year and a two month old to smile at the same time. During the photo session I nursed Austin and Alivia went through multiple mood swings. It was a whirl wind of emotions. When Alivia finally decided to cooperate she was bouncing off the walls. I was happy cause she was happy, but we could not get her to sit still for the life of us. In our family if she looks a little shiny it is cause she got into the diaper bag and put on my lip gloss while mitch and I were doing our photos'. It was the only way she was going to be nice. She is also holding Mitch's watch (hoping that would distract her for a minute) well it worked for about 30 seconds. So Holly snapped quickly and we got two decent family photos'. Here are some of results of this fun photo shoot!!!

This is my favirote picture of Alivia and Mitch. She looks like such a little angel.

I am so glad Holly put this photo in there!!! It will come in handy in the future!!

Austin loves Mitch -- Mitch can always get him to smile~!

Utah Summer Games

Although most of our time was spent inside the gym cheering for our team, we did have some down time between games and tried to make the best of it by enjoying the nice weather and swimming at the hotel.
Here is my mom, it looks like she is only talking on the phone, but suprise suprise she is actually working. Wouldn't you love to have her job!!!

Here is my little (big) brother Justin. He came along for the ride, not knowing he was going to be transformed into my car nanny!!! He was such a big help and was so nice to Alivia. Changing her DVD's every 10 minutes when she would get bored -- listening to little tykes play school music and taking Alivia out to play when she got bored with the volleyball games. He got used to Alivia reminding him constantly not to pinch her when he would buckle and unbuckle her in her car seat ~ It only happened once, but she has a pretty good memory! He was also responisble for putting the binky in Austin's mouth time after time and holding the bottle in an uncomfortable position so Austin could eat and we could make good time driving. THANKS UNCLE JUSTIN!!!! Oh lets not forget he was dubbed official car seat carrier where ever we went. That cute little baby is not light and Justin was nice enough to carry him every where. Here is a fun picture of Austin and Justin! (a set up to draw attention from all the cute girls at the tournment)

He knows how to work the system---Girls love seeing a young man holding a baby --ecspecially a cute one!!!Here are some fun outside pictures between games. The weather was so nice there --we were so bummed when we learned it was snowing in Pocatello -- so we enjoyed the 80' degree weather as much as possible.

Dylan was a good sport and entertained Alivia (or maybe Alivia entertained Dylan--not quite sure) Anyhow, below Dylan is trying to teach Alivia how to roll down the hill. It was quite funny to watch cause Alivia was not catching on, but she kept trying.
Here they are playing with the side walk chalk (alivia got this chalk at the last volleyball tournment that we went too! She is not new to the long tournments and she is such a good sport about it)
Here is Austin enjoying the beautiful weather. He loved just laying out on the grass. Eventually it put him to sleep!
Here we are in the evening enjoying a swim. Wow -- Talk about embarassing that cute little girl in the pink swimsuit was kind enough to leave a present in the pool. She did have a swim diaper on it just escaped from the sides I guess. Needless to say we woke up to upset young boy in the lobby crying to his dad that they had to shut the pool down because some little kid pooped in it. WHOOPS ~~~ Sorry!!!
Well here we are in the gym. Austin was a good sport too!! Alivia is used to sitting through volleyball and basketball games and supporting her Aunt and Uncle, Austin however is new to this and so far he is doing great.

By the championship game we had it all figured out. Alivia was entertained by her movies -- It was great she just watch her movies, would look up and clap every now and then and repeat whatever we may have been yelling at the time!!!

Here is Alivia being a great big sister. She loves to hold Austin.
Here she is "playing" volleyball!! She is a true volleyball player in the making. Lets hope she has some athletic ability in her--cause I sure don't.

This was common to see!!! Luckily she never interupted a game!
Here she is pouting because she was kicked off the volleyball court. It will be your turn in no time Alivia --have some patience!

Well The End--Hope I didn't bore or overload you with all these pictures!!

WaY tO gO eLiTe!!!!

This week the kids and I joined my mom, brother and sister on a trip to Cedar City, Utah to watch my little sisters volleyball team play at the Utah Summer Games. They did really well and played hard! The games were intense and close. It is hard when you think they are the best team out there and come to the big tournments and realize there are a lot of talented teams. There were four teams to watch out for at this tournment. Club V --was seated 1st, Pocatello Elite-(us) was seated second, then vegas blues 3rd and Xtreme (I think a Utah team) was seated 4th. I think there were 8 teams in all not sure though. And they were all very good--- Are team proceeded to take first place and they were so excited!! I am so proud of my sister and how talented she is I look forward to watching her grow in this sport. Here are some pictures to tribute to their hard work. My little sister Sequoia is number 5!!! GOOD JOB ELITE!!
**Now just so you know these pictures are in no particular order.
These pictures were taken after they were awarded the Gold Medal. Yeah!!!! My little sister is second from the left in the top pic and in the bottom picture she is 3rd over from the left on the bottom row. (She is wearing Turquoise because she play Labero (spelling?) for the last two games.
This picture below is just Sequoia and her friends goofing off in between games.
Here is Sequoia (#5)
Here she is serving. She did quite well with all her serves --!!
Sequoia waiting for the ball to come over!
Sequoia goofing off!! She is always smiling!
Here is a good picture of the team in action.
Here they are doing a little cheer after a good play!
Back to playing.
TIME OUT!! Team Huddle!
Some more playing shots. These girls are very talented and also a lot of fun too watch!
