Chicago/Indiana

Here are some pictures from are fun little vacation to Chicago and Indiana. We had so much fun-and we were very proud of my little sisters basketball team who went 8-1 (think it was 8). They did really good. They came in being the team from Idaho that nobody was really worried about and ended up being the team to watch out for. It was a lot of fun!

As Mitch mentioned we didn't get to spend our anniversary together. But I did miss him and I am so glad that I have been with my best friend for 6 years--we have two beautiful children and I couldn't ask for more (except for eternity)! We decided we will do something big on year 10!

Happy, er, Anniversary Honey!!!!

Well, things were done a little unorthodox this year. Depending on if you go by marraige 3/22 or going through the temple 3/27 we kind of missed being together for our anniversary twice in one year. Ooops!!! Rosa was thousands of miles away in Indiana while I was galavanting with the boys in good 'ol Jackson Hole for the hillclimbs. We normally go together to Jackson as a honeymoon/hillclimb tradition and party like rockstars, but as most know already Rosa was playing the big sister role for Sequoia at her national BBall tourney in Indiana. They took 3rd place against the top teams in the nation. Anyway, here's to an awesome 6th year of being married to the most patient (and hottest) girl in the world!!!! I love you, can't wait for you to finally get home.

Love,
Mitch

Chicago Part 1

Well we made it through Chicago and we are on to Indiana for the real reason we are here: BASEKTBALL! But here are a few pictures from our adventures in the windy city!!!
Here we are pulling out of Idaho -- nice little snow storm came through just in time to drive to Salt Lake -- gotta love Idaho!
Finally we are at the airport -- here we are in line at security which was not as bad as I thought it would be --

We got there early just in case we had road troubles or difficulties at the airport -- but we had neither so we were left with a few hours to kill -- we got a little bored waiting.

Finally the plane arrived. Alivia wasn' t so excited anymore and Austin was beyond tired.

On the plane. Alivia fell asleep right after take off -- Austin waited till about 20 minutes before landing. It was a long 3 hours.

So I guess the next post will be adventures in the windy city -- got to go -- but I will finish this post-+ later!

Busy Day!

Well today was kind of busy! In the morning Aunt Kristina came over and did Liv's hair. Her and Austin had pictures today! I will have results in few days!! I am pretty excited! Here is a preview! Then we went and saw Mitch at work. Went to lunch, went to dance class --! Here is a picture of Liv in her dress for pictures--Kristina made the bow for her hair!

Kristina and I have been wanting to make tutu's for awhile and finally decided to start so we went scouting for netting and decided we would make more bows while we were at it. It was actually a lot of fun! (side note:I almost paid $20 for the tutu at a store--we bought stuff to make 5 tutus for the same price)
**My model wished to remain anonymous --that and she was tired and getting grumpy!
We made this one Blue yellow and white to support my little sisters basketball team at nationals next week in Indiana -- we are so excited to go!

I stole this sewing machine from my little sister--I am hoping she doesn't want it back!
I think I have a new hobby!!

Nothing New

I haven't been very good about posting lately. Nothing new is really going on--
Mitch is still racing. He has 2 more races left this season. He has done alright but not as good as he'd like. The kids and I are going to join him at the next one maybe we will bring him some good luck! I will take some pictures and post them.

I am still working my every other weekend and tending kids every now and then. I really enjoy it and it is fun for Alivia to have someone over to play with. I have set a goal to read a new book every two weeks so we will see how that goes. I put a new side picture up so you can see what I am reading I am always up for suggestions or discussions!
Alivia is doing great -- she is growing up so fast. She is an amazing big sister -- Austin gets the biggest grin and loves her. She loves it when she holds her arms out to him and he reaches for her. She told me that he gives her loves all by himself.
Austin is a stand still with growing but it still big! He is crawling every where and into everything. He has a very quiet personality but likes to let out a few yelps every now and then. He loves stairs and every opportunity he gets he climbs. No walking yet but we are anticipating that it will happen soon--!
Well that is the update from us --
