First Dance Class

Well Alivia had her first dance class on Monday. It was so fun!!! They closed the blinds so I couldn't take to many pictures. But we had went early to get the girls used to the studio and let them watch the class before them.
Here is Alivia before we left. She was so excited. Her class is at 4:30 so she had been waiting all day. I think she thought I was lying to her about going cause she kept asking and I kept saying not yet!!!Here are the girls watching some older girls dance. They were so facinated and they just watched in awe. DREAM BIG GIRLS!!!!
Here they are: Kamryn Phillips, Alivia Sherman and Kylie Poorman. This is where we say good bye!!! They went to there class without us. Then the teachers such the blinds and it was like they were on there own. Which I think is hard for us mom's -- They are two, we are not used to letting them be on there own.
I hurried in snapped this picture while they were waiting for everyone to get to class. The girls walked right in and started dancing. It was too cute.

Labor Day (Weekend) Camping Trip

Well, for labor day weekend we decided to step out of the box and do some real camping. Okay -- not "REAL" camping. We headed over to Downatta (for those of you who don't know Downatta is about 45 minutes a way and it has a campground with a naturally heated pool). It was actually a lot of fun!!! It was Mitch, me and the kids, our friends Kelly, Jessie and Kamryn, Mitch's sister Adrienne came down with her kids and then Kristina and Cody came. We camped out for two nights, swam all day Saturday and just enjoyed some time away from home!!!! It was also fun for the kids to spends some time with there cousins and get to know them better. *Sorry this is long but it is mostly pictures!!!

Here is Mitch setting up camp!!! Which is always fun. Kam and Alivia where excited to run around. So was Gizmo (although he wasn't to fond of always being on a leash).
Here is Alivia walking the dog. She was pretty good about taking him for us when we needed her too!
Here is Alivia and I sitting around the campfire.
Mitch making a weird face. It was dark, so when you would take a picture you had no idea what you were actually taking a picture of!
Kristina, Mitch's little sister.
Adrienne, Mitch's older sister. In the morning Gizmo was shivering, so Hailey (mitch's neice) got him one of her shirts and put it on him to help him warm up!!! Alivia and Kamryn enjoying a pre breakfast snack. I don't always give her candy before breakfast but we were camping so I figured why not!!!Alivia and Austin after waking up from our first night. They both did really well. We all shared a sleeping bag (two sleeping bags zipped together) and slept pretty good considering we forgot our air mattress at home. Thanks to Kelly and Jessie they gave us theirs for the second night since they had to leave early!Adrienne and I have the exact same camera's so Hailey and Abby took what they thought was their mom's camera and went in the tent and took pictures with it. Well it was mine so I got the pictures. I was actually glad they did I got some good pictures from it.Above is Abby, I think she is 6. Below is Alivia with her favirote new silly face.Above is Conner, 4 and below is Hailey who is 8. All day Saturday we spent in the water! It was great it was like bath water. I didn't get a ton of pictures cause I was in the water most of the time too!! We bought this tube for Austin and he loved it, but Alivia liked it more and spent most of her time in it while she was in the pool! This camping trip was also a first for Austin in eating a graham cracker. He was bored and I forgot most of his toys so we figured why not. Well he loved it and we had to keep them coming....Cause every time he dropped it or finished it we had this..... At the end though he was full and messy!! He was also very happy even though you can't tell from this picture! Aliva got a little dirty herself. I am not sure if she fell on purpose or accident though.
Here are the kids at the end or the camping experience. They were getting bored waiting for the camp to get taken down and put away so we thought we would get some pictures of them.

Here are the grandkids from L to R: Conner (4), Austin (4 Months), Abby (6), Alivia (2 1.5), Hailey (8).The Girls Hailey, Alivia and Abby!! Alivia was so enthralled with Hailey and Abby she followed them everywhere. She asks for them everyday now. Here are the boys!! Conner and Austin (soon to be Grayson~Kristina and Cody's baby)Alivia and Hailey making funny faces and then Mitch taking the tent down to go home.
Also I had to add this picture in. I know Alivia is only 2 but she is going to start dance on Monday with Kamryn and Kylie two of her best friends. It is called creative tots and it is just for two year olds.So anyhow we took her to get her dance shoes for her new dance class she is so excited.

Playing Catch Up

Well, I started school this last week, it wasn't as bad as I had expected (not yet at least). My grandma came and stayed with the kids and hasn't quit on me yet. Austin is getting big. He weighed 18 lbs and 27 3/4 inches long at his 4 month check up!!! Alivia is doing good also. She is great big sister (although she is a little bossy at times). She will be starting a creative tots dance class next week. It is a class just for 2 year olds. She is doing the class with her two friends Kamryn and Kylie. We are pretty excited for them. Well I haven't been the greatest on posting pictures and I can't promise anything in the future now that school is back in session, but I will try to keep everyone updated!!!
I know this sounds crazy, but Alivia hates the bath. It is usually a kicking and screaming match to get her in it. Well now that Austin is getting bigger, he has been our bribe to get her in. She loves to help with him. So if I tell her I need help bathing Austin she will do it. She still cries when it comes time to wash her, but we are getting somewhere.
I bought Alivia a paint set a few weeks ago. I feel like she needs to do more stuff at home, sometimes I turn to the TV cause I am not sure what else to entertain her with. Well we now have paint, playdough, finger paint, flash cards and of course normal color books. Our TV time has cut down a lot, but I find it is still on most the day for back ground noise.
Mitch is very artistic, so I am hoping Alivia will be. I drew the face in the middle. I am sorry I have no artistic ability what so ever.
Here are some paintings that Alivia made for her grandma's!!

We took a drive down to Twin Falls last weekend and met up with Mitch's dad for dinner. It was fun. It is crazy how much Alivia loves him. We don't get to see him a lot due to busy schedules, but we talk about him and she has pictures of him. So the second you say his name she gets so excited and when we got there she ran right up to him. She wasn't even shy!!! We missed you Letty (she was ill). Hopefully we will see you next time!!!
You can see how much Alivia adores him. Also I don't know if this pictures does it justice, but now do you see who my kids look like! Sorry I couldn't get the next photo to flip. But is so cute of Alivia and Rick!
So this next picture is a cute one of the kids and papa Rick. (Also in this picture you can witness Alivia trying to get Austin to his hand out of his mouth. She is very mothering to him.
Well that is the catch up for now. So until next time!!!

Ausitn Laughs

So I got out of this shower and I could hear Austin laughing. Now although Alivia pesters this boy, she really loves him. It is funny how she can sometimes upset him and make him cry and she can also get him to laugh harder than anyone else .....(sorry this is so dark--Austin is in his crib, he is supposed to be napping and Alivia is playing peek a boo with him.)
