So I want to preserve this dress for Alivia so she might be able to use it for her daughter(s) to be blessed in. I had a friend who had the exact same dress and her material is starting to yellow. Any ideas on how to keep it pretty white!
It has to be packed air tight. There are companies (I'm sure a bridal store can tell you) that will pack it up pretty in an airtight box, that can be opened in 20 years and still be just as pretty!!!!!
Hey I had the same question and a friend told me to wrap it in blue. Like a blue towel or blanket then store in in a container where it won't get dusty or anything. Her daughter is our age and she says it works!
Don't have any answer but have been wanting answers myself. My boys and girls all have their own blessing clothes and I have just had them in an air tight bag but I think I need to get them wraped.
I was talking to Kathy and she said that if you put like cedar balls in with it that will help and vac u seal it so the air can't get to it because its the air than actually turns it
