Twilight

The Twilight party has come on and gone. I am looking forward to the next one. Mecinna Price arranged this event and it was a hit. We had so much fun and I will be returning next year for New Moon!!! I went to this fun event with Jessie , Corrine and my little sister Sequoia. We had so much fun -- It was nice to be out with just the girls and to of course act like girls!!!Here we are waiting for the limos to come and get us and take us to the party. We were so excited it was hilarious.
Here I am with my best friend Jessie in the limo on the way to the party!

Here we are at the party -- sporting our fangs!!!! ( Corrine, Me , Jessie and Sequoia) Here we are on the way to the movie in

Here we are on the way to the movie -- we can barely contain our excitement.
And here we are. We were one of the first to get to the party so we hung out and played Twilight trivia for awhile. It was probably good. It settled us down a little. Well that was until the movie actually started then we were giddy school girls again.
And now what you have all been waiting for (I am sure of it) Did I like the movie? Well I am going to have to say NO. Why you might ask -- well there are lots of reason but here is the main one: I LOVED IT!!!! I know corny right -- well that is what i am I am cheesy and corney and I went in to the movie knowing that no matter what I would like it. I did not compare it with the book in any way because there is no way you could make a book that good into a movie. There would be way to much detail! After the movie Jessie and I decided that there is no way we would let our husbands watch this movie though-- They would tear it apart and ruin it for us!!!
This is gift bag we received at the party. Mecinna went all out on the party and it was great. A night we will never forget!!
P.S. I brought a souvenir from the party for you:

Carrie Underwood

On Wednesday my little sister Sequoia went to Salt Lake City for a Carrie Underwood concert. This was her first concert ever. I felt privileged to take her. It was so much fun! My had got these tickets for us back in July for our birthdays. Our seats were pretty good although my camera obviously cannot justify what we saw (and I was also to busy enjoying the concert to stop and take a ton of pictures, but I didn't what I could.
Here's my little sister and I after we got matching Carrie Underwood shirts.
Here are a few pictures I got of Carrie once again -- not to good due to the lighting. She was gorgeous. She sang amazing. You couldn't even tell it was live it sounded like the radio version--She was so good.
I told Sequoia the other thing I really liked about her was how natural she was - she was just a lucky girl who wild dreams came true. My favorite part of the concert was when she pulled a little girl up on stage to sing All American Girl with her. The little girl was so nervous but she calmed her right down and she was so sweet to her. The other thing I thought was pretty neat was every time she would sing a little quieter you could hear the whole stadium singing the songs it was like a huge choir. It was pretty neat. I would go to another Carrie Underwood concert any day of the week. She was great.
Below is a video of her coming onto stage -- She was so neat. Sequoia and I got so excited because where we were sitting we could see her coming from back stage. It was like Christmas morning we were so giddy when we saw the first time getting ready to go under the stage!

I just wanted to say opening act Little Big Town did great! My favorite part from their concert was the very last song they sang to get the crowd riled up -- Boondocks! It was so funny with a lot of there lines in that song I could actually relate too -- "Give me a tin roof, front porch and a gravel road" with the exception of the tin roof -- That feels like home to me!!!!!
Still to come.... The Twilight Movie Party!!!!

Thats NOT My Boy!

So for those of you who know me, you know that I am by far one of the pickiest eaters. And so far Alivia is following in my foot steps. Austin on the other hand is complete opposite. I told Mitch I wanted to test the "this kid will eat anything " phrase so I got him some veal baby food. BARFFF...... I kept waiting after each bite for him to up chuck. The smell alone was going to make me hurl. But he loved it!!! Uggggg ...
More please.....
Thanks Mom -- That was good!

Mommy and Me

So Alivia and I got a little bored Saturday night. Alivia was supposed to be in bed but would not stay so I let her lay with me while we watched TV. Well we got a little camera happy. We just started clicking and couldn't stop. I snapped the photos while Alivia determined our next pose. It was pretty fun. (I can't believe I am posting some of these photos, but this is for Alivia)!

Sleeping......

Silly Faces.....

Blowing Kisses......

Comparing our feet...

She wouldn't give me a kiss on camera

touching our noses....

smiling.....

thinking hard.....

I think we are mad....
blowfishes.....

sticking our tounges out at dad.....

Our hands.....

Last but not least HAPPY.....

Alivia

So Austin usually goes down for his morning nap around 10:30 or 11 and then usually sleeps for about 3 hours. That usually gives me enough time to get stuff done, get ready for the day and what not. Well today a special someone (Alivia) woke him up at around 11. So I got him up put him in the jumper so I could get in the shower real quick. Alivia was playing with him and I could hear them and then it was quiet. So I asked Alivia--
Me: Alivia?
Alivia: hmm?
Me: What are you doing?
Alivia: nothing
Me: What are you doing?
Alivia: just feeding Austin--

Me: What?

Me: Oh really --!

So I guess it could be worse. But she is so stinkin smart-- I can't child proof anything-- She can now open all cupboards (even one's with locks) She can unlock and lock the doors -- so if I have the front door locked and someone knocks she will run and unlock it and open it. And as you can see she can feed her brother all by herself.
Unfortunately for Austin she can't reach the microwave so he ate cold Chicken with apples. He didn't seem to mind. Also, another bad deal was Alivia;s attention span is very short so it was only a tease for Austin and after a few bites she was done. So I had to finish feeding him. You can't just start feeding Austin and stop expecting him to understand it is not really time to eat yet. It was just a fun little story I thought I would blog about. I love Alivia and how smart she is I will just have to learn how to be smarter.
Here are some more pics:
excuse there outfits. we are very slow getting going in the morning.

Austin was pretty irritated we interrupted his meal with the photo op and was getting kind of anxious about getting the next bite.

SICK

So I thought for sure I had made it through the viral season in my house. Everyone seems to have a cold and they are now slowly recovering. I myself hadn't really felt anything, I never even said anything reguarding it (in hopes that I would ginx myself).
Well as I sit here finishing the last of my 3 shifts, I find it very hard to swallow. A slight incling of an ear ache in my left ear and a nose that when I sniffle it stays stiff inside. Oh yah and every time I do muscle up enough strength to swallow there is this stupid clicking in the back of my throat right by my ear.
I would just like to give credit where credit is due, so thank you to my wonderful husband and I am sorry I didn't sympathize with you more (you would never do that) when you endured this.
Thanks Alivia and just cause you didn't want to sleep when you were sick doesn't necesarrly mean I don't want to!
Last but not least I would love to thank Austin, so cute but not very innocent.
PLEASE, PLEASE LET THIS CYCLE STOP HERE!
